Taekwondo, also spelled Tae Kwon Do or aekwon-do, is a Korean martial art and combat sport involving punching and kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae means "kicking", Kwon means "punching", and Do means "the art or way of".

Hawrangs or Flowering knights, were an elite group of male youth in Silla Dynasty , an ancient Korean kingdom that lasted until 10th century . Hawrangs are young commandos of Silla dynasty of Korea, who were true patriots of country, always ready to sacrifice life for the sake of country. So are the students of Hawrang Academy are given training to become patriotic warrior for our Country Bharath.
The Crest of the Academy has Yin & Yang i.e. the ultimate life force mentioned in Zen philosophy, which is surrounded by blooming lotus which wholly guarded by two armed warriors called Hawrangs who are guarding the sanctity of academy/ humanity at large. The logo signifies that the Hawrangs are trained on the philosophy of Yin and Yang and focused on the growth of little commandos like a blooming Flowers. Whose petals are yet to be unfolded. ¨The MOTTO of academy is “ENTER TO LEARN AND EXIT TO SERVE” the humanity at large

Founder of Hawrang Academy Veteran Master Dr. Ashok Kumar Lenka, MBA, MPEd, BE, PGJMC, PhD is an Air Veteran, Served Indian Air force for 22 long Years. achieved Pride of National , Life time achievement Awardee. He is 6th Dan Taekwondo Black Belt, World Taekwondo Level 1 Coach, Qualified International qualified 3rd Class Master Instructor from Kukkiwon South Korea, an International AisanTaekwondo Union Coach Licence Holder and also Global Official License Holder , National Referee Kyorugi & Poomsae, also an National & International Taekwondo Medalist in Taekwondo Kyorugi and Poomsae. He has 35 Years of Taekwondo Coaching experience across India. He has Produced 100's of Champions. He is a Hatha Yogist , Aerobic and weapon Master too. He is 2nd Dan hapkido, 3rd Dan Kenbudo and Sailum. He is an qualified moutaineer Climbed 11 Moutain Peaks in Himalays and Practiced Martial Arts over 22000ft. Nominated for Tenzing Norgay National Land Adventure Award
